About your estimate/quote
Any estimate/quote given in writing or verbally shall only be valid for six months. Deposits must be paid within six calendar months of the date of the estimate/quote if you wish work to commence at the stated price. A quote shall be considered invalid if the condition of an item has deteriorated or it has sustained further damage when you present it to us for repair.

Before work can begin
A 50% deposit is required prior to the start of any work or the ordering of any fabric.

Work in progress
Springle’s will keep you informed of the progress of your order once work has commenced. You will be given an estimated turn-around time at the time you receive your quote. On occasion, this may need to be updated as work progresses. The length of time needed to complete a job is subject to change due to the availability of fabrics and other materials in the supply chain.

Completed Orders
You will be notified immediately when your order is complete. Unless we have arranged to deliver your item back to you, you should arrange for the removal of your furniture within three days of receiving such notification. You should inspect thoroughly the work done by the upholsterer before you remove your item from our shop. If we have returned your item by delivery, you should notify us within 48 hours if you are not satisfied.
Abandoned items
Any item left in our shop store for more than three months will be classed as an abandoned item. Springle’s reserves the right to sell or dispose of any such abandoned item in order to recover costs.

Methods of payment
We can accept for payment, a personal cheque, business cheque, banker’s draft, postal order or purchase order, as well as cash for small orders paid for in person.

Refunds
We regret that we are unable to offer refunds. If you are dissatisfied with a repair job and you have notified us within 48 hours we will make every attempt to rectify the problem free of charge and as soon as possible.

Limitations of liability
Springles accepts liability for the condition of an item (excluding any damage sustained prior to our collection of the item) whilst we are in possession of and carrying out work on your item. This includes the period from our collection to delivery back to you.

Springles does not accept responsibility for any damage caused to an item before we have collected it, after we have returned it or during transit if you have chosen to arrange your own collection/delivery to us. It remains the responsibility of the owner to make sure that any antique or other expensive item are properly insured against accidental damage or loss.
